Tensed Time is an exploration of intuitive sound composition. A Crackle Box with the Crackle Clack interface was processed live using a series of Spongefork presets and live loops, designed to deconstruct and accompany the sounds, in order to create a cohesive yet spontaneous composition. As a result of using the Crackle Box, the laptop running Spongefork also becomes an active part of the circuit, the control data, and contributes to the timbre of the output.
